12th House
The twelfth house is cadent, the last and most inward of all, where the circle quietly ends. Aligned with Pisces and Neptune, it governs the unseen: the unconscious, the dreaming life, solitude and retreat, and all that is hidden from ordinary view. It holds what cannot be grasped directly — the dissolving, mystical edge of experience.
Here are surrender and release, the loosening of the boundaries that defined the self in the first house. The twelfth house describes the depths beneath awareness, the sanctuary and the undoing, the place where a life returns to what is larger than itself.
