Quincunx

150° · hard

A hundred-and-fifty-degree strain — two bodies with no common ground, asked to adjust.

The quincunx sets two planets a hundred and fifty degrees apart, in signs that share neither element nor modality — no common language, no shared instinct. It is not the open clash of the square but an awkwardness harder to name: two energies that cannot quite see each other, working at cross-purposes in the same chart. A minor aspect by tradition, it asks for adjustment rather than resolution. Nothing here integrates cleanly; instead, each side concedes ground in turn, and mastery looks like an ongoing calibration — small corrections, repeated, until the two functions learn to take turns.
